Narrow Gauge Railways We are pleased to announce the inclusion of narrow gauge railways in our stock list. We can now supply 009/hOe and 0-16.5 gauge rolling stock and locomotives. In most cases these items are crafted to order and follow the purchasers specification. However, we do hold a limited stock of ready to run items. With the inception of narrow gauge railways came the answer to cost effective track laying and a cheap method of transporting materials from outlyiing sites to the ports and towns. Mining played a large part in the progress of narrow gauge railways and to this day many excellent examples still exist. The Snowdon Railway possibly being the most well known throughout the world. Modeling in the above mentioned gauges could not be more simple. OO scale locos on N Gauge track and O scale locos on OO gauge track - easy to detail and easy to run.
